Please advise, if anyone knows the skinny. SO, core question: is "not playing nice with Postscript fonts" a NEWLY ENGINEERED and known "feature" of Office apps? As I mentioned above, I COULD get them to work when I opened this document (using the same Office apps) a few years ago.suggesting that the latest updates have changed the Microsoft suite's relationship with fonts. (NOTE: ALL fonts mentioned here work in Adobe apps.) Using FontExplorer to turn on different fonts and troubleshoot, I can make Word "see" certain OpenType fonts and most (but not ALL) TrueType fonts, but Postscript fonts. LIBRA FONT FOR MS WORD ON MAC PROI use FontExplorer X Pro to handle fonts, but have also tried loading the fonts in question with FontBook. so please do not reply that it's the FONT's fault and to "check with the font manufacturer." So, core question: do the Office apps NO LONGER play nice with Postscript fonts? Some of my fonts are older and they seem to be the ones that Word will no longer find - though they work FINE with Adobe apps. I have been reading other posts about fonts. There are fonts in this document that I can no longer seem to get Word to 'find'. Been using the 2019 Office package in recent years, just updated the apps again this morning. I have opened a template I've been using once a year for the past decade.
